I have been approved for a mortgage for a home. The lender can't do anything till I get $4500 up-front. Is there any government help or anything. My credit is not good to get an FHA loan. But I herd one time about a government grant that would give money to use toward the purchase of a home. I am in desperate need at this time. I live with my step-father since my mother passed away and he wants us out. I work full time but don't make wads of money, but enough that I could pay mortgage payments as long as they are not too high. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
